Wings Installed
Finally the wings were in position with flaps and ailerons duly installed as per the plans.

It was rather laborious but not impossible to work alone on Flaps and Ailerons installation. Additional hands of help if available would have reduced the amount of hours with setup and assembly.
Mounting wings to fuselage center spar is quite involved as the wing spar need to be set precisely to match the 6 holes of 5/16″ diameter. There is absolutely no wiggle room and it must be done properly with patience and accuracy.
An update on my 650 build – this time it’s about left wing and its control surfaces
Made some good progress on my 650 build over last two days after a week off due to travels … Next steps include aileron completion and wing tip with led light installation
I think I can say with some comfort that my right wing is all done , riveted and ready to be installed on to fuselage

Few small updates to my wing construction for this week Next is to start on right side wing frame
After due check on alignment , finally drilled holes incrementally to final size for A5 rivets and few for A4 rivets ( for L angles) and riveted the bottom skin That was a very long day today
Still going on with left wing build…– Top side is all drilled to 30 size …– Fuel tank setup done – Onto bottom wing skins and ribs drill to final sizes ….
Continued with bottom rear rib skin and completed pilot holes with clecos Made a hand tool to adjust ribs for centerline alignment to drill holes through bottom skin (thanks to Jon’s build videos for this idea)
